Autism Speaks
Scarlett Walker is the 15 year old daughter of Mike and Angela Walker of Birmingham, Alabama. She is a sophomore at Oak Mountain High School where she is Sophomore Class Vice President, and seeks an Advanced Academic Endorsement Diploma. Some of her activities include, performing with the “Con Brio” show choir, competing with The Pointe Dance Arts competition team, and being on the Student Council.
Scarlett has enjoyed participating in the Outstanding Teen Program for the past two years. She has shared her platform, Autism Speaks-emphasizing autism awareness, with elementary school students, Girl Scout troops, Sunday school classes, and women’s clubs. She will be holding a third annual sleep-over fundraiser this winter to benefit The Autism Society of Alabama.
